Staying at Rabot Hotel

Rabot Hotel sits on Hotel Chocolat’s 140-acre working cacao estate near Soufrière. The adults-only property has 25 Lodges among cacao trees and tropical gardens, with views towards Petit Piton from selected areas.

The elevated setting, approximately 1,000 feet above sea level, helps the Lodges catch the cross-sea breezes that move through the area.
The rooms use natural ventilation rather than air conditioning, supported by ceiling and standing fans.
At Rabot, open-air living means opening the shutters to the garden, sitting outside on a private verandah or showering beneath the open sky. The Lodges remain private, but they are intentionally less sealed from the tropical climate than a conventional hotel room.
Rain is part of the setting, so a light waterproof is useful if you plan to explore the estate. Guests should also be comfortable with the sounds and changing conditions of a rainforest environment.

The 450-square-foot Lodges overlook a tropical garden courtyard. Each has a king-size four-poster bed, an indoor seating area beneath a pitched wooden roof and a separate open-air rainforest shower.

The 750-square-foot Luxe Lodges occupy a more elevated position. Their doors open onto private verandahs with sun loungers and views across the rainforest towards Petit Piton.

Choose a Lodge for a quieter garden setting, or a Luxe Lodge if you would value more space, private outdoor seating and a wider outlook. Both room types include a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser with drinking chocolate, along with homemade chocolates and cookies refreshed daily.
