Sustainable cacao-growing in action

Tour our cacao farm and make a chocolate bar You’ll never think about chocolate the same way again.

As an in-house guest, the Tree to Bean part of the Project Chocolat tour is complimentary. After exploring the seederie and learning how to graft a cacao tree, you’ll head into the rainforest and become one of few people in the world to see where cacao originates as you tour our organic cacao farm. Our expert guides will explain how we get from a cacao seedling to the end-product we all know and love, while treating the farmers and the planet kindly.

It doesn’t have to end there. Hotel guests can upgrade to add the Bean to Bar to your experience where you’ll get the opportunity to taste cacao pulp from a freshly cut pod, sample some Rabot Estate chocolate, and learn from the experts how to transform roasted cacao beans into a chocolate bar.

Is Rabot Hotel adults-only?

Yes. Rabot Hotel welcomes guests aged 18 and over. Its small scale, open-air design and rainforest setting make it especially well suited to couples, solo travellers and anyone looking for a quieter stay.

Is Rabot Hotel open-air?

Yes. The hotel has been designed to make the most of the tropical climate and natural breezes. The Lodges use open-air living, ceiling fans and standing fans rather than air conditioning, helping guests feel more connected to the rainforest around them.

Can you see the Pitons from Rabot Hotel?

Yes. The Pitons are a big part of the Rabot experience. You can enjoy views towards them from selected Lodges, Rabot Restaurant and the infinity pool.

Hewanorra International Airport is around a 45-minute drive from the hotel. Private airport transfers can be arranged in advance through the Rabot Hotel team.

Does Rabot Hotel have a beach?

There is no beach directly on the estate, but Malgretoute Beach is around ten minutes away by car. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle twice a day for guests.

Rabot Hotel has 25 rooms across its Lodge and Luxe Lodge categories. Each room is designed for a maximum of two adults.
